Terms and conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Latbase. Please read them. By creating an account, installing a Latbase app or using any of the Services, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Latbase is a brand of White Blink Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U72900KA2020PTC134070), with its registered address at 1/1 Periot, Gajendra Nagar, Off Hosur Road, Adogudi Post, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560030, India. White Blink Private Limited publishes the Latbase apps on the App Store and on Google Play. In these terms "Latbase", "we" and "us" mean White Blink Private Limited, and "you" means the person or the organization using the Services.
2. The Services
"Services" means everything we offer under the Latbase name:
- Latbase Leads: the app for Android and iPhone, the web app at leads.latbase.com and the version you can install from the browser, for capturing the people you meet at trade shows and events.
- Latbase Discover at latbase.com/events, for finding business events.
- Latbase Micro Events, the small business events we plan and host for companies.
- Your Latbase account at account.latbase.com.
- Our websites: latbase.com and the addresses under it.
3. Agreeing to these terms
Our privacy policy is part of these terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you may agree to these terms for it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters to how you use the Services, we will tell you in the app, on our website or by email. Using the Services after a change means you accept it.
4. Your account and your team
- You must be at least 18 years old. The Services are for businesses and the people who work for them.
- Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at once if someone else may be using your account. You are responsible for what is done through it.
- In Latbase Leads, the person who creates a team is its admin. Admins invite and remove members, see every lead of the team and can export and delete them. What a member captures for a team belongs to that team and stays with it when the member leaves.
5. Your content and the people you capture
Your leads, pictures, voice notes, notes and tasks are yours, or your organization's. You give us the right to store, copy and process them, and to pass them to the providers named in our privacy policy, only as far as needed to run, protect and improve the Services.
The people you capture have rights over their details. You agree that:
- you capture only people who gave you their card, their badge or their details for business;
- you have told them, or will tell them, what your organization does with their details, where the law asks for it;
- you record voice notes of your own words, and you record another person's voice only with their permission;
- you follow the laws on unwanted messages when you email, message or call a lead;
- you answer a lead who asks what you hold about them or asks you to delete it, and you delete it in the app when they ask.
For the leads you capture you decide how the data is used and we process it for you. If the law that applies to you requires a data processing agreement, write to privacy@latbase.com.
6. AI features
- Latbase Leads uses AI models run by other companies to read pictures and voice notes. By taking a picture or recording a note you agree that it is sent to them as described in section 6 of our privacy policy, which says who receives it and what they may do with it.
- AI makes mistakes. It can misread a name, a number or an email address, and it can miss or misunderstand what was said. Check what it filled in before you rely on it or send a message.
- Do not use pictures or voice notes for secrets, passwords, payment cards, identity documents or health details.
7. Fair use
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- use the Services against any law or against anyone's rights;
- capture or record people without their knowledge;
- send unwanted bulk messages to the leads you capture;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or infected with malicious code;
- copy, scrape or resell the Services or the event listings of Latbase Discover;
- take the apps apart to get at their source code, except where the law allows it;
- test, probe or overload our systems without our written permission;
- pretend to be someone you are not.
8. Plans and payment
- Creating an account and installing the Latbase apps is free.
- Nothing is sold inside the Latbase apps. They have no purchases and no subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play.
- Paid plans and services are sold to businesses directly by our team. To buy one, write to hello@latbase.com. The price, the period, the taxes and the terms of payment and refund are in the quote, order or invoice we agree with you, and where that document and these terms differ, that document decides.
- Prices on our websites are shown in Indian rupees to visitors in India and in US dollars to everyone else, and do not include taxes unless they say so. The price you pay is the one in your quote, order or invoice.
9. Event listings
The events on Latbase Discover are organized by others. We check the details against the organizer's own pages, but dates, places and prices change. Confirm with the organizer before you book travel or pay for anything. We are not responsible for an event, its organizer or what happens there.
10. Micro Events
A micro event we plan or host for you is covered by the proposal or agreement we sign with you for it.
11. The mobile apps
- We give you a personal licence, which you cannot pass on, to install and use the Latbase apps on devices you own or control, for as long as you keep to these terms.
- These terms are between you and White Blink Private Limited, not with Apple or Google. We alone are responsible for the apps, for their support and for any claim about them.
- You must also keep to the terms of the store you got the app from.
12. What is ours
The Services, their software, design, text and marks, and the names "Latbase", "Latbase Leads", "Latbase Discover" and "Latbase Micro Events", belong to us or to those who license them to us. These terms give you no right to them beyond using the Services. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
13. Services of others
The Services open or connect to services run by others, such as WhatsApp, your email and messaging apps, Google Calendar and the AI providers. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.
14. Changes and availability
We work to keep the Services running, but we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or end any part of them. If we end a Service you use, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.
15. No warranties
As far as the law allows, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise any business result, such as a number of leads, meetings or sales.
16. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we and our directors, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, business, goodwill or data, arising from the Services or these terms.
Our total liability for all claims arising from the Services or these terms is limited to what you paid us for the Service concerned in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or, where you paid nothing, to ten thousand Indian rupees (INR 10,000).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or the rights the consumer protection law of your country gives you.
17. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, the people you captured, the messages you sent, or your breach of these terms or of a law, you will cover our losses and reasonable legal costs.
18. Ending
- You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. How to delete your account.
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we end the Service.
- The sections that by their nature should continue after the end, such as sections 12 and 15 to 17, continue.
19. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any dispute with us first at hello@latbase.com, and give us thirty days to resolve it with you. After that, the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have jurisdiction. If the law of the country where you live gives you rights that an agreement cannot take away, you keep them.
20. General
These terms, our privacy policy and any order or agreement we sign with you are the whole agreement about the Services. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. You may not pass these terms on to someone else without our written consent. We may pass them on to a company that takes over the Latbase business, and we will tell you if we do. Neither of us is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
